A1 opened its doors in 2001 on East Main Street. One bay, one tech, and a standard the shop has never bent on since: if we would not put it on our own car, we do not put it on yours.
Twenty five years on, that standard is still the whole business. There are two shops now instead of one, ADAS calibration is done in house instead of sent out, and every windshield we fit carries a lifetime workmanship warranty. What has not changed is who is behind the counter.

Two shops, a mile apart, one standard.
Main St is still the original address. Broadway opened later, a mile down the road, running the same hours and the same rule. ADAS calibration moved in house on Autel certified equipment, so a camera does not need a separate trip to the dealer just because the glass in front of it changed.
Family owned, family run
The same faces you saw here in 2001 are still here today.
Glass work in San Diego County usually gets booked through a call center and handed off to whoever is free that day. A1 has never worked that way. It is a family business, run by the family that opened it, and the people who greet you at the counter are the ones who will still be there the next time something cracks.
